Before becoming a pediatric dentist, I earned degrees in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and spent 8 years working as a general dentist. Along the way, I discovered that kids were my favorite patients—their curiosity, creativity, and endless questions make every day an adventure! Adults usually sit quietly in the chair. Kids, on the other hand, tell me about their pet goldfish, ask if I live at the dental office, and occasionally negotiate tooth-brushing terms like experienced lawyers. So I decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry—and I’ve never looked back!

My goal is to make every visit fun, comfortable, and maybe even something your child looks forward to. Whether we’re counting teeth, celebrating a cavity-free checkup, or discussing the important scientific question of which dinosaur brushes its teeth the best, I’m here to help kids build healthy habits and confident smiles. I use my engineering skills to troubleshoot smiles, investigate mysterious missing teeth, and perform detailed quality-control inspections on wiggly little mouths.

When I’m not at the office, I enjoy functional fitness, strength & conditioning, and running. I’m also a fanatic about alpine snowboarding and winter activities. I can’t wait to meet your family and help keep those little smiles running at peak performance!

Originally from South Korea, I now live here with my wife and our two daughters, who are in middle school and high school. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling, camping, and visiting national parks with my family. And here’s a fun fact—yes, I really can use both hands when I’m working on teeth!
